| Details: Will be a tournament consisting of 6 clans, will be a 8 on 8 tournament, each team will own a map (Crossroads, Quarantine, Frostfire, Urban Wasteland, Fallen, Kasbah, and Desert Glory). Order of picking will be the roll of a dice on the “eye toy” (each team will be numbered and the order it lands on your number is the order you get to choose). Teams are divided into pools, based on seeds (date/time entered into the tournament).
1st round will consist of each team playing their map against each team into the opposing pool (Mercenaries and Commandos). Teams play their map and the oppositions map on whatever game play type they choose. Games are scheduled between reps. Each map is worth 2 points (1 for Commandos, 1 for Mercenaries). 3 teams with the top points move on. If there’s a tie between two teams you play the map that was not chosen (on Commandos, and Mercenaries) till a clan becomes victories and moves onto the next round.
In round 2 all three teams remaining will play each other once and the two teams with the most points move onto the next round. (Tie=play map that was not chosen).
Round 3 the remaining two teams will play each other for three games at the map that was not chosen by any clan (Demo). Winner of the best of three game will be the champion of the tournament. |
